Un comentario personal en el foro de Superpoke pets/A personal comment in the Superpoke pets forum.

Como muchos de ustedes saben Google esta cerrando Slide, y en un par de meses desaparecerán las aplicaciones de esta compañía, incluyendo a Superpoke pets, app que por cierto conozco muy bien desde hace casi 2 años.

Superpoke pets es uno de los juegos virtuales que más he disfrutando en Internet, y con el he conocido a personas de todas partes del mundo, pero bueno el fin de este post es dejar libre el comentario que hice en el foro de Spp.

¿Y el por qué de mi anotojo en compartir esta opinión sobre un juego?, bueno creo que menciono un punto que es el talón de aquiles de Google en las redes sociales, y estaría bien que algún día ellos se dieran cuenta de porque las redes sociales no han sido lo suyo hasta ahora (ya veremos que pasa con Google+...).

Estas son las observaciones que le hice recientemente al ahora dueño de Slide: Google.

"Este fin de semana me encontré con un artículo sobre Eric Schmidt y fue muy interesante para mí, porque él estaba hablando acerca de Google siendo social cuando el era CEO, pero creo que el que Google no sea tan social no es su problema, de hecho creo que Eric estaba haciendo un muy buen trabajo en Google. http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2011/06/googles-schmidt-social/

Google tiene muchas herramientas que son muy útiles, como la búsqueda en Google y el navegador Chrome, creo que es verdad que Google tiene algunos problemas para ser social y ellos tienen que ver algunas cosas sobre ello, si no es pronto, se darán cuenta de esto algún día.

Un proyecto social se construye y crece por las personas, si se quiere ser social en Internet con una red, esto es realmente como invitar a una fiesta, no sabes lo que va a pasar y tu solo eres el anfitrión, eso es una red social, recuerdo haber visto algunas noticias en la televisión de los creadores de Twitter y algunas entrevistas a Mark Z. de FB y ellos dijeron algo similar: que nunca se imaginaron lo grande que serían sus proyectos.

El problema con Google siendo social creo que es que no están escuchando tanto a la gente, que ellos son el anfitrión de la fiesta y están actuando como esa fiesta no tan divertida donde la madre está en ella, así que, ¿qué es lo que pueden hacer?, Google+ es, sí un buen proyecto, es cierto que están en este proyecto en un momento difícil debido a que Facebook ya es mucho muy social, y muy difícil de superar, y algo equivocado que Google ya está haciendo es: enojar a la gente, a los jugadores de Slide.

Una cosa importante en el mundo social es entender que la mejor publicidad es la recomendación de la gente, no los buenos o malos artículos: es la voz de la gente, las redes sociales son como una respuesta del mundo real, nosotros podemos decir: "Oh esta persona tiene las mejores fiestas", y luego más y más gente va a estar tratando de estar en esas fiestas, pero si alguien dice: "Esa persona apesta en la fiestas"... ese no es un buen anuncio, ¿o si?, esto está sucediendo ahora con el cierre de esta aplicación, los jugadores hablamos con nuestra familia, nuestros amigos, en la web y en la vida real y les estamos diciendo que Google va a cerrar nuestro juego, y les decimos lo que sentimos, entonces Google es como el mal anfitrión.

Lo de matar Slide es un mal movimiento, hay jugadores enojados, y ahora hay una especie de desconfianza hacia Google, entonces Google tiene que entender que ser social significa escuchar a la gente y dejar que la gente sienta que el proyecto es suyo.

Así que Google, escucha a la gente, queremos que esta aplicación continué: ¿eres social o no Google?, porque nosotros lo somos, ya tienes una casa impresionante para la fiesta con este juego, ¿podrías ser un anfitrión amable?."

"This weekend i found an article about Eric Schmidt and was very interesting to me, because he was talking about Google being social when he was a CEO, but i think that Google not being so social is not his problem, in fact i think that Eric was doing a very good work in Google. http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2011/06/googles-schmidt-social/

Google has so many tools that are very useful, like the Google search and the Chrome browser, I think that Google has some problems by being social and they have to see some things about this, if is not soon, they will realize of this some day.

A social proyect is building and growing by the people, if you want to be social on the NET by having a network is really like inviting to a party, you dont know what is going to happen and you are only the host, that is a social network, i remember see some news on the tv of the creators of Twitter and some interviews of Mark Z. from FB and they told something similar: they didnt imagine how big they proyects will be.

The problem with Google being social (i think) is that they are not listen to the people so much, they are the host in the party and they are acting like that not that cool party where the mom is on it, so what they have to do?, Google+ is yes a good proyect, and yes they are on this proyect in a difficult time because fb is already to much (TO MUCH) social, really hard to beat, and something that Google is are already doing is make angry to the people: the Slide players.

One important thing in the social world is understand that the best publicity is the recommendation of the people, not the good articles or the bad articles: is the people voice, the social networks are like a reply of the real world, you say: "oh this person has the best partys!", and then more and more people will be trying to be on your party, but if some people says: "this person s*cks in the partys"... is not a good ad or is it?, this is happening with the close of this app, we talk to our familiy, our friends, in the web and in the real life and we are telling them that Google is going to close our game, and we tell them how we feel, so then Google is like that bad host.

The Slide thing on Google is a bad move, they have already angry players, and now there is some kind of mistrust, Google has to understand that being social means that you have to listen to the people and let that people feel that they own the proyect.

So Google, listen to the people, we want this app alive: are you social or not Google?, because WE ARE, you already have one awesome house for the party with this game, could you be a nice host?."
